This collaboration's challenge was to transform the perception of a functional mother’s bag to an elegant large-size bag that can be used in different scenarios throughout her busy daily life. Taking the design elements of Michino’s iconic Lutece bag and incorporating with the robust coated canvas which is unlined and treated on the surface to keep water-resistant, adding multiple pockets inside, Saint Germain bag is Michino and Risa’s answer for all-in-one bag that every mom would want to have in her wardrobe.

The ceramic piece is made in Limoges, France – well known for its traditions in ceramics. The leather charm is made with Taurillons leather from the French tannery Remy Carriat. It is then handcrafted in Florence, Italy.
